On Wednesday I was at Target and I got that Canon ELPH for $19.99. I actually found it and the guy gave it to me. The funny thing was I went to check out at the register, and the camera didn't ring up on the register. So the CSR just looked at the camera, and I said "The electronics manager told me it was $19.99." And without any verification, he just put in $19.99 for the price. hahahahaha
On THURSDAY, I got me a Playstation 2!! NO SLEEPING IN LINE, NO WAKING UP EARLY. Here is the grand story:
I went to Hawthore, Los Angeles, Best Buy around 11:00am. There were a lot of cops around (probably for crowd control, or maybe something else happened?). Well the manager had a shopping cart FULL of PS2's! And he was wheeling them into a meeting room in the back. The cops were leaving, and one of them asked the manager if they could get one to buy, and he said, "Sure." So the manager gave him one from the cart. Then another cop came and asked him the same thing, and he got a PS2 as a result.
I was RIGHT there when it happened, and I decided to just talk to the manager. I asked him when he could expect more PS2's in. He said "March next year." DAYAM. So I asked, "Could I possibly get one of those in the back?"
Get this: He said: "Sure i'll hook u up!"
I nearly SH!T in my pants!!!!! I was acting all cool and collected. I thought I was seriously hallucinating! No waiting, no sleeping in line, NOTHING. I just asked the manager and He HOOKED me up.
So now I got a PS2 and I didn't have to do anything for it.
Just had to ask.
Wow. me so lucky!
And today, my girlfriend bought me a new pair of shoes and a jacket for me (my old ADIDAS jacket was stolen from the gym 2 years ago). She also got me a set of weightlifting gloves. I guess she got me all this stuff because I always buy her stuff.
And I had 2 quizzes in my engineering class but I was WELL prepared for them.
And I got my Genica MP3 discman in the mail today! (FINALLY!)
Man. What a great day!
