I need to get an old athlon chip and a motherboard that accepts ddr memory for cheap...
I was thinking ebay or UBid of the 2 which would you use?
I have everything but the mobo and cpu...

or is there another site I am missing?

My daughter in laws computer bit the bullet and I am trying to use as many parts as possible from what I have and what she has to make her even a descent PC.

All she does is surf the internet and play games like Spades....Chess...etc....

Are you looking for a specific motherboard or anything?

If it's at least DDR333 you could get a socket 754 combo cheap in the FS/FT forum from someone who upgraded to PCI-E
