Using Vista 64 Ultimate.

For a while I've been using Maxtor software to manually back up all the contents of one drive to an external drive once a week. The software was somewhat flakey and didn't always work. After a complete system rebuild I'd like to use something else. Here is what I want to do once a week:
1. plug in external drive
2. back up everything that has changed during the last week on D: drive

I don't want to back up my entire computer and I don't want this automated since I have to plug in the external drive first. I also want to make sure it's an incremental back up since most of the files wouldn't have changed week to week and I want this to take 10 minutes...not 4 hours.

Any recommendations for this? I've looked at the Vista internal back up function but it doesn't seem to do what I want.

Thanks

Pretty sure that the built-in Windows Backup is incremental by default. Additionally, you have the system imaging capabilities (Complete PC Backup) in Vista Ultimate.
