What about building a SFF??? Can be much more powerful than a laptop and round a bout the same space.

I have heard Intel has a Mobile Chipset available for desktop boards I think some motherboard companies make them, but they are really expensive. Frankly they are too expensive. However if a low power design is what you want it might be a good idea. If you just want small size there are other options like a mini-itx P4 or a Via C3 processor Mini-ITX system might fit the bill. There are probably some systems designed into the viewscreen stand designed to take up less space.
