When I was kid, movies like IT etc gave me horrible nightmares but of course I still watched them. Now I am 25 years old, nightmares are a thing from childhood. So at the book store I saw Clive Barker's book of blood collection and thought it would probably be a good read because I like to be a little scared.

So anyway I get through the first three short stories last night and head to sleep. So I go off to dream land and before I know it I am having dreams about possessed animals. Then I start having a seemingly normal dream about my family and I open the door to my nephews room and on the wall there is is seeping blood under flourescent light and the word jesus is written upside down. Not to mention a bunch of other crazy stuff that makes the heart beat faster when you wake up.

Anyone else like this? I am going to still read the book because the stories are good!

Well one of the stories has to do with a possessed pig of some sort so I imagine thats why I started thinking of possessed animals.

There is a simple answer really, before going to bed, take 5 minutes and read a few slips of Family Circus... ahhh.. all better now...boring family cartoon will certainly chisel away at that demonic plaque that has infiltrated your thoughts.

I was playing Bioshock very late Saturday night, in the pitch black, and I did have a nightmare about those creepy little kids afterwards. Creepy little kids always seem to freak me out, along with clowns and certain varieties of dolls.

I have not had a nightmare from a scary book in a long time though.
