the only thing that fixes this is diversifying yourself. make as many white AND asian friends as possible. enjoy it too as in many major corporations it is (guesses from personal experience) about 60-70% white, and the rest are hispanic/asian/black/etc.
i remember when i first came to live a couple summers ago in Phoenix. we went out to a club, my buddy and i, and we walk in, and we were the ONLY two white people in the joint. we looked at eachother, said, "aww f--- it" and we had a blast.
Who cares? I'm asain, my school was about 50% asian, 40% hispanic, and 10% the rest. I had asian, hispanic, black, white friends. It doens't matter. Here at davis, its like 35% asain, 50% white. I have white, hispanic, indian, asian friends.
think of it this way buddy...its a blessing...latinos get lots'o play from the ladies...if you talk with just a slight accent...alot of women love it 🙂
Try walking around off campus and you'll find plentyof Hispanics, also homeless people, drug addicts, prostitutes, basically any kind of person you would ever want to get to know really well.
Very few people there are going to give a rat's behind what your race is. If you're intelligent and interesting you will make plenty of friends.
If you're really worried about being accepted, just sit down under a tree and fire up a fatty. You'll make more friends that you know what to do with. It is, after all, Los Angeles, not Podunk, Iowa.
