Messy food pisses me off. There's an almost 0% chance I'd get ribs. A shame you don't have pit beef up there. A good MD pit beef stand would shut that festival down overnight :^P

Looks like there's other good choices though, so it should be fun as long as it isn't hot. I don't know why everything has to be in summer. "Hey, it's oppressively hot, there's serious mortal threats to health, and insects are at their maximum density. We should do something outside!" It's like these dumb fucks never heard of November :^S
 
I was reading the webpage and at the bottom the short story about success's intrigued me....

In 2015 vegan activists picketed the London Ribfest. They came to Victoria Park to convince the organizer to stop selling meat. Promoter, Doug Hillier met with the activist spokespeople and a plan was initiated to have them join the event in the park to sell vegan food. Doug and the activist's group then asked Globally Local, a local vegan food establishment, to take on this challenge.​

This is what happened!
In 2016, Globally Local featured what is now known as the Famous Burger to the London, Ontario Ribfest, where it sold out due to overwhelming demand.​

They now have opened up a chain of stores, it look good to me (expensive though, big mac combo is around apears to be about 6$ more than the Mcd's one)

I did take some pics. I did get pulled pork sandwich. It has 2 lbs of pulled pork and the sauce is a bit spicy but nice.

I went to Texas Jack's.

That's a big fucking sandwich, is the bun the size of a plate?
 
Enjoy the ribs, skip the pulled pork.

Been to the largest (20+ stands) in the Western US, Reno, multiple times and always enjoyed the 3-bone samplers from multiple stands. We'd always get a side of 'slaw if they had it to cut the fat and of course cold beer to wash it all down!

The giant beef ribs would always sell out first so go early if your a beef rib fan.
