I am having a BIOS error problem...

SO I had to put a new battery in my system. SO I did the CCMOS jumper and then took the old battery out and let sit overnight. I then put the new battery in and powered on with the New bios on the disk in the A: drive.


Finally I shut off and Cleared the CMOS again and when I booted up I got the error: CMOS Checksum Error, Defults loaded. So I pressed F1 to continued and shut the PC off for the night. When I turned it on next morning I got the error:
CPU has been changed or is unworkable.

And every time I have to press f1 to continue.

Check to ensure that the battery is fully seated in its little holder. Also, go into your BIOS and set your CPU's bus speed to the correct setting for the CPU that you have, and while you're in the BIOS, go into the PC Health Status section and look at the item called Battery Voltage (+3V). That's the voltage of your new CMOS battery and if it isn't somewhere near 3 volts (like if it's 2.3 volts or something low), then maybe your new battery isn't so new.

Also make sure that your CMOS-clearing jumper is in the "normal" position.
