Kind of heavy, not something you would want to use for backpacking or bike-hiking. You could probably spend $20 at Wal Mart and get something similar if you just need a sleeping bag. I spent $240 for a Marmot bag with a Gore-Tex outer shell some years ago and will never have to buy another bag. It weighs in at 2lb 8oz so it's perfect for my needs. With a small bug net that fits over the hood along with my Gore-Tex rain jacket I can sleep without a tent even in a downpour.

7lbs is a lot of weight, and don't believe their bs temp ratings. a real sleeping bag rated to -30 will cost you a good 600-700 bucks.

i disagree, a real sleeping bag doing -30 at 4 lbs would cost him 700 bucks. at 8 lbs i could see them selling it off season for 120 bucks.

Looks like a good bag, but you need to know the temp rating, and also the temps you'll be using it in.
