Getting older is starting to piss me off.
So, I have decided to use sunscreen every day.
Anyone here that does this?
If so, which sunscreens have you had the best luck with?
My skin tends to break out if it gets too oily.

L'Orell or however you spell it has this face stuff that includes 15spf that I use.

Nah, when getting old pisses me off I just throw a big helping of chunky peanut butter into my belly button. No explanation needed, much like your post. I just get mad at getting old. Has anyone here done this? My belly button tends to get peanut butter in it if I put peanut butter in it.

Just make sure you test them on an inconspicuous area before putting anything on your face. My ex was allergic to a common sunscreen ingredient and ended up getting a massive rash on her face because she didn't test it first.

That said you are actually better off getting a moisturizer that has SPF in it, rather than a straight sunscreen.

I have worn sunscreen on a daily basis for years. I live in Phoenix, AZ where it is almost always bright and sunny. I usually buy a moisturizer with sunscreen in it. Eucerene products are great for hydration without the oily skin. Almay and Aveeno also make a good one.

Cool I will definitely look at these. Have you noticed a difference? Or a lack of aging of the skin?

You ever break out using it?

explanation?

Research shows than 80-90% of aging of the skin comes from sun damage. Or so the interweb says.
And since I am aging, 26 going on 27, I would like to slow the damage to my skin so that I look 27 when I am 40.

I have noticed the difference of not being sunburned on a daily basis, and I don't have wrinkles yet. :)

I just use a moisturizer cream.

haven't had the need for sunscreen... maybe in the summer time i'll start using it more if I'm out in the sun for extended periods of time.

Neutrogena Triple Protect Face Lotion for Men. It moisturizes, helps with razer burn, and has SPF 20 in it.
I used to have acne and this stuff didn't cause problems.

Most good moisturizers have SPF 15 in them.

Yes. 26.
I thought so. Just seems a bit young to be worrying about age, at least to me it does. I'm 47 and I still don't worry about age, at least for the sake of appearances. My body feels a bit creakier and the muscles definately don't stretch like they used to, but that's about the total impact age has had on me.

I can understand the desire to use a moisturizer and spf, especially in a dry sunny climate, but I would have thought that to be more health related than age related.

If you're worrying about this now, you're going to be a mess when you hit 40. :p

I think that's all hogwash.

I don't use sunscreen- EVER. I regularly sunbathe in the summer time and I don't put a drop of sunscreen or skin moisturizer or anything at all. I will lay it in the noon day sun despite all the fearmongers warnings and I'll work on my tan. I still have tan lines now from last summer, can't wait to hit the sun again! No freckles, no sudden sprouting of moles or skin blemishes. I was really hopign the sun would "age" my skin more but it just isn't after over 5 years doing this. I still have this annoying babyface complexion and I get carded for even buying lotto tickets, I'm about same age as you.

I'm pretty much the same, I never use sunscreen. Sure I'll get a little sunburn but after a day or two it turns to a tan. Maybe it's cause I have native american blood in me, hell if I know.

I'm a ginger and I burn to a crisp even with SPF60 on. Whenever I go to the beach I never take my shirt off. My arms get bad enough as it is, I don't need a burnt back also.
