Peter Jackson is going to be on the canadian late night show "Open Mike" along with John Rhys-Davies (Gimli) this friday (dec. 14th), and I called them and the tickets for the taping were all gone but I begged and begged and tried to convince them how much I wanted it and the lady gave me some tickets for the taping!! I've been to Open Mike tapings before and after each show you get to MEET THE GUESTS downstairs!!!! Which means I will hopefully personally shake the hand of my god, Peter Jackson, get his autograph and hopefully a picture with him!!!!

I AM SO STOKED...I CANNOT EVEN EXPLAIN IT.

If you don't have a hardbound copy of the book..go buy one! It'll look a lot more cool showing off to friends, and it will stand up to time better as well.

A poster would be cool, but it would be a little unwieldy to take to a show taping.

good idea vi_edit, but then I was thinking about what indyjaws said...would he even be comfortable signing the book? he didn't write it and he just spent like 7 years reading it nonstop...it's his bible where all his work came from...would he really want to sign something he didn't "create"?? it's hard to say...
