I have two Mirage Frx-5' s as my fronts but they might be going as rears when I get some money and get some athen F2's...duals 8'' 's and excellent quailty for $400.

I was thinking about that SOny Sub that has been in the news but then reconsidered. From what I
've heard it is LOUD but not GOOD in terms of the qaulity of the bass that comes from it. THis one in actuallity stays around the 30hz range dipping down to 27hz, but although it isn't the lowest, the sound is fantastic and beyond thight. Like a good sub, it keeps up with the midrange in terms of speed.


A slow sub that goes to 16hz still SUCKS@![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]

I have a JBL 250W 12" Sub I got on sale @ buy.com for $169. Can't complain as it's normally like $499 or something.
Maybe later once I get room for a respectable setup I'll get an SV Subwoofer. The cylindrical design = nice :)

I would'nt recommend the JBl...kinda of weak as a wub from what I've heard...the that price tange however look at a Polk

I got my SVS 16-46CS for like $225 picked up. Now that I got it, I rarely use it... it's TOO loud :)

That's definitely not something I want.

I only have 2 Mirage Frx-5's driven @ 80watts a piece so I want something that will blend in. Now if I had some paradigm reference....
