I am going crazy! (with pic)

Whats the longest amount of time you have gone without a real conversation with someone face to face? I moved out to LA from the east coast not knowing anyone to go to grad school at UCLA and I have some people and we go out on the weekends, but I never see them on campus during the week, so I go basically 5 days a week without a real conversation with anyone. I have a roommate, but she doesnt normally get back till 10 or midnight every night and then she lives in her room.

ARGH...I'm used to be on my cell phone constantly with people or hanging out with people 24/7 having to pry myself away to do work. Now I find myself hanging out with people for only a couple hours a week. Hopefully I will meet more people and this won't continue.

I be taking some EE courses, Signals and Systems and Digital Signal Processing andthen intro to BME...I am studying Biomedical Engineering though, just taking some classes i didnt have as an undergraduate

yeah thats it...my friend who was visiting from BMore was convinced she was a stripper cause we would come home from drinking at like 2:30 and she still wouldnt be home...i think she is just mad busy though...who knows with what...

I usaully interact with people everyday. I think I would go crazy if I couldnt! Put yourself into an enviroment where people are more liklely to socialize, ie: people in your classes, delis and stuff near school.

Do what my brother in law did, join clubs. Depending on your interests no guarantees you'll meet women but at least you'll be spending time with people who enjoy doing the same things as you.

Hey I work all day long 5 days a week, Mon-Fri for long hours.. and other than people I talk to at work, I don't have any human interaction at all! I just moved to the Virginia area, so I don't know too many people (all my friends are in NJ) so even on weekends I don't always have stuff to do ... So discounting my human interaction at work, there have been weeks where I did not talk face to face with anyone at all! ... Be glad you at least have the weekends! (I dont even have a roomate... Living alone has its advantages but it sucks when you get lonely!)
