I am getting weird pixiles

I have this old Diamond 1000fire GL( I Think that is what it is calleD) 8meg vid card. Well recently I been getting this purple pixiles all over the place, when I reboot most of the time the pixiles go back to normal. IS this a sign my vid card is gonna die on me?
