No matter what I do, I cant get my damn Tbird cool. I got new exhaust and intake fans and stuff like that and still Im getting 52C on the desktop and it crashes around 53, so 52 isnt acceptable. I am really tempted to get a water cooling setup. Im thinking about getting this one. Is it worth $90? Will it get my temps down?
thanks,

I have an Alpha6035 w/ a delta fan. There is no reason the thing should be running so hot! I dont know what the problem is. The real problem is, the air in my room is already hot so even with the "cool" air being drawn into the case, it really isnt all that cool. So I dont know what to do. I think the time for water has arrived. If that kit is cheap, any suggestions on a good one?
thanks,

if your room temp is hot, a simple water cooling kit won't help you much

what is your room temp?

Is your tbird running at stock clock and voltage?

what thermal paste???

If your room temp is hot, then you will need a water setup with a peltier. I would say that you need to get a good water setup, not some cheap/inexpensive one.

is your alpha-clip mounted correctly? IE pressure point on clip matching the cpu core location when mounted?

Was the system ever stable before?

It is stable for now, but it is only May...I have many hot months to get through. I'll check the clip thing out. As for the big tower thing...Im not ready for that yet. If I go water cooling I would get something basic. Everyone has been saying not to get a cheap one. Well then point me in the direction of a good one.
