Popups I am talking about -
Now the ones that I get when I go to certain we sites dont bother me - I have a popup blocker that deals with them -
But I will get random ones that pop up without me surfing anywhere -
I will wake up in the morning and 5 new ones will be on my computer -
It says they are from "messenger service" and it lists my IP adress
Do I have spyware on my computer and how do I take care of these?

NIS blocks those for me...if I disable it for any amount of time I will get one of those pop ups...gotta love NIS
 
Yep you're screwed. Go to this and download adaware. It will clear the comp out. You're not actually screwed, but you do have spyware on there.

I would recomend you download adaware and a program called Spybot. That should clear out most of it. 🙂

spyware didnt kill those pop-ups for me. But definately install, update and run adaware regularly. Also check out spybot. It gets what adaware doesnt, they are the real dynamic duo
