Seems the definitions of senioritis are spot-on on Urban Dictionary, and I'm experiencing it fully. I've had this notebook here next to my computer waiting to receive notes for four days now and I have put it off every night. I've realized that my grades don't matter for the rest of the year and I'm pretty tired of that school of mine and so I have no work ethic. I fell asleep in calc twice this week. I even went to Office Max and had them make a VOID stamp for me. When I encounter a problem I don't want to do, I stamp VOID on it.

How do I survive these next four months of school?

I have been through that. I had senioritis last year really really bad, you just have to make sure you let go of it when you go to college.

Oh, and dont slack off that bad. You can get your admission taken back if you slack off too much.

I suffered from senioritis since freshmen year. I rarely studied for tests, never took notes, never annotated, played cs the days before the sats, and only studied the day before AP tests. I managed to get 4's and 5's on my APs but had a 3.6 gpa :(. If you don't plan on going to some ivy league, who cares about high school. Get wasted, laid, high, and stoned and don't worry about things. Your public education is short. Buy a fleshlight.

I got into a good school already and since the day I got my acceptance letter I stopped caring about high school. I still don't intend to let my grades go lower than As and one or two Bs, though.

You may think you suffer from Senioritis as a lower classman, but you guys have no idea.

Last year (Junior year), I'd put off homework until the period before it was due, now I just neglect to do it unless I feel like it. Meh.

Don't fight it...

Actually I almost got a C+ in my physics class 2nd semester after getting an A 1st semester. I ended up with something like a 79.6. Good enough for a B- :D.

I had that my junior year, my chances of a 3.5 GPA dropped so fast.... As did the rest of my life.

Take my advice, do well in school. It's your future.

So anyway, this notebook here is for my English class, I need to write a paper on my college major, electrical engineering. It's very stupid and I'm choosing not to do it till Tuesday at 10 PM (due Wednesday).

You plan your procrastination? You're a different kind of beast. I'd figure most people would just say "I'll do it later."

True. But after having been accepted to my top choice college I'm just not overly concerned with high school anymore.

Fvck a GPA. I'm ranked in the bottom third of my class because there are all these idiot kids taking bottom-level courses with 4.0 GPA's. I have a 3.5.

I just know from experience it'll be around that time.

my advice is to NOT slack off in your AP's. If I had done well and got a 4 or 5 on my BC Calc test in HS, I wouldn't have had to spent 3 semesters (I took II twice) doing calc in college

Our ranking and GPAs for graduation and other internal functions is done unweighted, though we have the option of specifying that they use weighted GPAs when sending transcripts and such. Thus those of us who work our nuts off at the high end don't even make honor roll, while the tards coast right in.
