Chelsea and I got together last night with another couple and went on a double date to the Corn Maze and out to dinner.
At the CornMaze, we had a great time getting lost in the dark. We were running head, hiding, and jumping out to scare eachother when we passed. It was great. I wore shorts, not thinking, and almost froze to death, but that's okay. We missed markers in the maze, but found others and managed to get out again.
After the maze, everybody was hungry so we decided on a place for dinner and settled on Who Song and Larry's for some good Mexican food. When we got there, we were seated by a guy who we thought was gay because of his movement and speech, but thought nothing of it until he winked at me when I ordered. :Q
Later, when the girls were trying to order their drinks, he only brought one of them. When he finally was asked to bring the other, he brought it without a straw. The girl asked for a straw, and he took his sweet time or just forgot about it. When I ordered, I got prompt service, and was winked at twice. WTF.
When the girls ordered dessert, they said that they were going to split a deep-fried ice cream. When he brought it out, he brought three spoons, dropping one in front of each girl and one in front of me. WTF.
So, when we left, I wrote down a friend of mine's phone number on the receipt, signed his name, put two little hearts next to the number, and left it at my place at the table.
