yesterday i got two checks in the mail...pell grants for school. i was only supposed to get $750 right now...
and then again in a few weeks. but the second check was for $1125....much more than i expected!!!!!
and i have been waiting for my refund check from the gov for a month...i have been so broke! it just arrived.
yay!!!! i actually have money for the first time in my life!!! i'm gonna go buy clothes...and camera stuff...oooohhh

While you have it, why don't you start a small six month CD at your bank or something similar? Go on with your normal form of income (or get a job ) and take that extra money and make it work for you

man.. i did a 6 month cd with about 3 grand over last summer in preparation for school.. my biggest mistake ever.. the extra returns i got were TINY
