I am declaring Jihad

It's been just over 3 months since September 11th. In that short amount of time, we have gone from outrage to ridicule to cynicism. The number of juvenile remarks and conspiracy theories I am seeing posted lately is disturbing. To all of you who post asinine remarks, contrived conspiracy theories, irresponsible accusations and other codswollop on the topic of our war against terrorism, consider yourself warned:

I declare jihad on you!:|

I call on all my fellow defenders of the faith to seek out these f-tards and flame them into the stoneage.

Over 4000 Americans are DEAD because some fanatical sick f*ck thinks it is fun to send his disciples on suicide missions against innocent civilians. Our actions have been to see that this never happens again. In three months we have decimated to worlds larget terror network. A good start, but tghe fight is not nearly over.

Anyone talking sh*t on this topic - look out.

Oh yeah... well I declare a Crusade on you ;)

Actually that 4000 number is around the 2000-3000 range now, that is including the foreign people who died there.

Better stock up on your ammo as I'm sure the conspiracy theorists and other doubting Thomases will be all over this.

:frown:

One Texas Soldier

A large group of Taliban soldiers are moving down a
road when they hear a voice call from behind a sand
dune. "One Texas soldier is better than ten Taliban".

The Taliban commander quickly orders 10 of his best men
over the dune whereupon a gun-battle breaks out and
continues for a few minutes, then silence.
The voice once again calls out "One Texan is better
than one hundred Taliban".

Furious, the Taliban commander sends his next best 100
troops over the dune and instantly a huge gun fight
commences. After 10 minutes of battle, again silence.
The Texan voice calls out again "One Texan is better
than one thousand Taliban".

The ! enraged Taliban commander musters 1000 fighters and
sends them to the other side of the dune. Rifle fire,
machine guns, grenades, rockets and cannon fire ring
out as a terrible battle is fought.... Then silence.

Eventually one badly wounded Taliban fighter crawls
back over the dune and with his dying words tells his
commander, "Don't send any more men...... its a trap.
There's two of them".

I was outraged....but against who? I haven't the slightest idea.
I have always been cynical of the government.
The remarks and theories have been floating since Sept 11....where have you been....reading your Quoran, getting ready for your jihad?
By starting this thread....you are asking for more flames and theories. Glad I am not you.

Well...it's a bit over 3000 from the WTC alone and add another 300-500 from the plane crashes and the Pentagon.

It's okay, Mom... Others that post garbage about 9-11 tend to get slammed for it, you posting this thread about "jihad" is pointless because it seems to be about yourself...

hell no. Have you forgotten the Afghan civilians who have died during the US bombing? or dont they matter to you? there are more people suffering form this than just US citizens.

edit... I found a Reauters news story dated Dec 16 that states that 3300 people were killed in the WTC attack, my mistake.

Anybody see the latest story about the "Mohammed Atta" who visited Checkslovakia and supposedly gives the US the "Iraqi Connection"? The Atta who visited the "Iraqi Diplomat" has actually been determined to be a different Atta who looked very much like the Atta hijacker who was in 9/11. The only difference? The Atta who was over in Checkslovakia was actually someone who visited quite often because he dealt in selling cars along with the Iraqi diplomat and has been identified by the diplomats friends and neighbors as such. Now the Checks are saying they're only 50% sure. This was on page 2 of my local Sunday paper over the weekend (very conservative and pro-Bush paper - Indianapolis Star), but I haven't seen it on CNN or any of the other news channels.

Meanwhile, we currently mass troops again in Kuwait according to the latest from Jane's.

So if its 1000 less people there's a difference Czar? :|

How can you be that insentitive?

BTW, your pathetic attempt at spin with Steve wont work here. The Afgan civilizins killed has NOTHING to do with your comment.

Be a man and admit you were wrong to make such an insensative remark once again.

Texmaster,
and again you try to get off by insisting I say I was wrong.
1000 people less.. there is a difference.. about 1000 lives.
The Afghan civilians have everything to do with it, so many people belive that the only unjust deaths were the ones in the WTC and the Pentagon, the Afghan civilians are just deaths because its just a war and civilian deaths is expected in a war.

From what I've seen on the various news channel tickers, the # reported missing stands around 3000 and the # of identified dead numbers near 500. Add to that the dead from the aircraft (passengers and crew) and the dead at the Pentagon.

And, the widow of one of the victims committed suicide last week.

<< I read that it was a little over 2000 from the WTC and one newspaper in the US (NY Times or something, a big one at least) expected the number to go below 2000 soon. I´m searching for numbers now. >>

The numbers just dropped to a little over 3000 missing.

If you want numbers, read each name here. and count them yourself. Each name is a person who won't be home for Christmas, whose kids won't get to spend the holidays with daddy or mommy, whose family lost a bread winner....

In the beging there were so many on the "death" list that were listed twice, seems that they have been cleared out now, so its hopefully finished.
I read about that suicide, tragic :(

So the loss of American lives means LESS? My God who is raising you.

Its the context of what you say and you know it.

Actually that 4000 number is around the 2000-3000 range now, that is including the foreign people who died there.

You are correcting a person who is angry at people who dismiss the American casulaities such as yourself and in your vain attempt at winning a winless arguement, you try to correct the numbers and add the "foreign deaths" as if that makes a difference in the lost American Lives.

Its this kind of Anti-American crap you are infamous for and every time you do it, I'll be there to call you on it.

<< The Afghan civilians have everything to do with it, so many people belive that the only unjust deaths were the ones in the WTC and the Pentagon, the Afghan civilians are just deaths because its just a war and civilian deaths is expected in a war >>

Where were you when the Afgan civilizans were being tortured and starved to death by the TALABAN? I'll put the loss of civilian numbers in this war vs the number the Talaban have killed any day of the week.

and to address Czar's comments about the injured/killed afghani citizens. I am sorry for their losses too. As tragic as they are, and as tragic as the losses our country has had, I at least see this as the call to action that it is and that hopefully we will see a worldwide effort to combat terrorism

SO IT NEVER HAPPENS AGAIN!

Dont play his game. His every arguement is about misdirection.

Your point about the people who dismiss the American Casualities by changing the arguement to others being hurt by American action has NOTHING to do with the deaths that occured on 9/11 and it certainly doesn't excuse them.

Texmaster,
What the hell are you talking about???
I wrote this
-1000 people less.. there is a difference.. about 1000 lives
You wrote this
-So the loss of American lives means LESS? My God who is raising you.
How in the world can you get out of that that I think american lives mean less? My post clearly states that it matters that 1000 less people died and it matters because there are 1000 more people alive than was thought at first, thats a good thing you know.

<< Where were you when the Afgan civilizans were being tortured and starved to death by the TALABAN? I'll put the loss of civilian numbers in this war vs the number the Talaban have killed any day of the week. >>

Where were you?, we couldnt do anything. Where were you when the NA alliance did the same the taliban did, and now they are heroes in the eyes of the uninformed world:disgust:

Mwilding,
Allright, I agree, the good thing leading from this war is that hopefully Bin Ladens terrorist group is completely dead and we wont have to worry about them in the future.
