I am thinking about getting an NF7-S 2.0 and a Barton 2500+ for her. I bought the same combination for myself last year, and I find it to be quite a nice. I was able to easily OC mine to 2200MHz and run it very stable. Are there any other Athlon XP mobo's that I should consider? Thanks for your help.

Nope, I think the Abit is still pretty darn good. I would consider a Mobile Barton instead of the desktop 2500 though. Look in the CPU/Overclockers forum for details.

You might want to sacrifice overclockability for stablility and cost. The NF7-S is a litte more expensive than some alternative mobos with the saame features. Depending on how much of a power user your sis is, I would consider buying a cheaper mobo and using the extra money and a better cpu that you don't need to OC... With that in mind I admit I would still OC :) Buy the 35 watt 2400-M CPU though. I got mine to 2.4 on a Volcano 12 and its rock stable in prime95 for several hours, I will go further (maybe?) once I recieve my A-bit mobo.
