I am confused about rings.

How do you guys know if a woman is available?

I go by the ring on their hand, but I am confused. Is she committed if she has a finger on her left hand or right hand?
 
Women wear wedding rings on the ring finger of their left hand. I have seen women who wear "promise" rings on the ring finger of their right hand.

It only took like 4 posts to get that in.

As for the OP's issue: It depends on which hand she uses to write. Look at both.
Also, I've seen plenty of girls that wear them just to keep guys away. They put 'em on at work and at bars when they dont want to get hit on (as much).
