Please let me know which one you guys think would be a better overall build.

Thanks!

Sorry, I thought it was kind of obvious that it was going to be a gaming PC. I want it mostly for games, my price range is about $1,000, I'll be buying them from the U.S., I don't really have a brand preference, and I plan on doing "some" overclocking. Not too much, though.

ok i'll have a perfect build for you in a sec 😀

Edit: still answering the sticky would still be helpful to know exactly what you need etc

answer these questions plz

PLEASE when you POST threads asking for input on system builds tell us...

1. What YOUR PC will be used for. That means what types of tasks you'll be performing.

2. What YOUR budget is. A price range is acceptable as long as it's not more than a 20% spread

3. What country YOU will be buying YOUR parts from.

4. IF YOU have a brand preference. That means, are you an Intel-Fanboy, AMD-Fanboy, ATI-Fanboy, nVidia-Fanboy, Seagate-Fanboy, WD-Fanboy, etc.

5. If YOU intend on using any of YOUR current parts, and if so, what those parts are.

*

7. IF YOU plan on overclocking or run the system at default speeds.

8. What resolution will you be using?

9. WHEN do you plan to build it?
Note that it is usually not cost or time effective to choose your build more than a month before you actually plan to be using it.

*

X. Do you need to purchase any software to go with the system, such as Windows or Blu Ray playback software?

At the end of the day it's your money. There's only so much we can do.

Sorry, I thought it was kind of obvious that it was going to be a gaming PC. I want it mostly for games, my price range is about $950, I'll be buying the parts from the U.S., I don't really have a brand preference, and I plan on doing overclocking. Not too much, though.

I thought I answered them earlier.

I would also like just standard Windows 7 and possibly a Blu Ray reader if it doesn't exceed my limit.

Yeah, $900 for a 7770 system isn't what I would call a good deal. What Durvelle has listed isn't bad, but:

- I would avoid any RAM with tall heatspreaders like the Ripjaws. Check out this $35 Crucial kit instead.
- The HAF 912 is pretty outdated at this point. The NZXT Source 210 comes with USB 3.0 on the front panel and costs less.
- $60 AR is too much to be spending on a CX600. The much better Silencer Mk III 600W is $57 AR AP.
