I am 18 years old, and I admit, I think I have been gay since I was 14 and began seeing other men in the gym locker room. I have been ridiculed because there is a rumor going around that I am gay, because of the way I look and act. I feel that the only way I can get help is through an anonymous message board, where my identity can be hidden. I am seeking any advise on getting me through this tough stage of my life. I hope that this will not change any of your feelings towards me. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

j/k yall my firend posted this w/o me noin sry dudos mod delete/lock

Hmmm that's pretty deep, but I can't help you with that problem good luck. You might have picked the wrong place to ask a more homosexual related board might have been better. :)

Edit This won't change my feelings for you because I never had any. ;)

I had a reply typed out that was kind of rude, so I deleted it. You can thank me later. I'll just sum it up quickly.

End yourself now. We don't like you.

BTW, my feelings are totally changed towards you.

Well, see if there's a GSA in your school, and talk to the advisor. Other than that all i have to say is good luck, you're in for a bumpy ride.

My parents and friends both are greatly discouraging. They keep trying to make me meet new girls, but I am not interested in them. The few friends that I used to have, seemed to have dwindled once this rumor came out in my school.

If you're having issues a message board is certainly not the right place to look for support and comfort. Well not at ATOT that is.

I suggest you find yourself a good shrink as you'll be needed him or her. Find good supportive friends, and most definately let your family know all about this.

Good luck in your future endeavors.

Perhaps he knew from an early age that he was already gay but only started to desire men at that age?

A major disadvantage of posting something like this anonymously is that you'll get other anonymous jackasses who think they need to sound off, telling you to commit suicide or something else equally revolting.

Though I don't agree with homosexuality, I do accept and somewhat understand it. If you are truely that open minded then limiting your search for companionship of that nature to just one gender doesn't make sense. Some people are open minded about this while others are not. So, if you feel this way be prepared to be ridiculed by some but don't become bitter towards other straight people because there are straight guys out there who aren't offended or afraid of such a lifestyle. I am not gay but some of my close friends are (both female and male). I support their decisions because I respect them and enjoy their friendship.

Edit: Just don't look at my pee pee or all bets are off.

Good luck and have fun.

But I think you're just joking around here. If you're serious, then congrats and good luck.

Goodluck man. I know nothing about this area of topic. Just know that everyone questions their sexuality at some point. Educate yourself and you'll realize that you'll be much more happier! Best of luck, man

i dont know if i would say a shrink is necessary...unless there is no one else you feel you can speak to about it.
about the kids mocking you, try and put them out of your mind. kids in school are asses and they dont ever really know how painful it can be. they usually dont mean to cause the pain they do.

You have come to the wrong place for help or understanding. A large number of homophobes post here.
