I am close to checkout now. *** w0000t, order placed ***

I'm building a similar system for myself... been using a 1600XP for the longest time, so figure it's time for an upgrade.

I've got an:

Asus A7N8X and 2500XP OC to about 210FBS atm
2 x 512mb Kingston HyperX PC4000 in dual channel
Sweet Artec case from Tigerdirect

I'm not in any rush to play any games atm, so i'm trying to find a deal on a 9800XT or 9800 256mb (i need 256 since i'll be using resolutions of 1920x1400).

But i've been seriously thinking on ditching all of that (i can sell it locally, i've got people asking me to build them similar systems right now) and getting a Dell 2001FP monitor.

BTW, i'm not sure what your previous memory in that rig was, but I just built a system for somebody (with exact same specs as what i posted up there) with a pair of Samsung PC2700 memory i had left over from last year, and it went up to 210FBS just fine. Of course the timings are a bit more lax.

It was Kingston VALUE RAM. Someone suggested Buffalo and with the savings on other parts I bumped the Video to a 9700PRO. I think it still would kick the a slightly OC'ed 9600PRO rig at stock speed with the 9700PRO.

I just need one final comment before I commit to this setup.
