I am buying a new\used car and need recommendations.

I am looking for recommendations for a new\used car.
My budget is $20,000 to $23,000 for new or used.
I want a car that is reliable and sporty ( good handling and reasonably quick). I am leaning towards FWD or AWD.

Thanks

I like the way this man thinks. While the TL is a sick car, my friend's dad has one and it doesnt do it for me.

I'd get a rex or something used and high end and european. The a4 or a sick veedub or older m3 would do it 🙂

I agree, vi_edit always offers good solid advice.

Damn I found dozens of cars in your area.

Manual I4 accord coupe LX. Even new including tax, it comfortably fits your budget. Gas mileage is good, handling is good, build quality is great, and it breaks into 15s in the 1/4.

I'm looking to buy a car too, and was just doing some research. I can go in that price range, but I'm looking for a little bit lower.

I was thinking a used BMW 3 Series, but it just wouldn't be the best bet right now. I would LOVE one, but I need to be more realistic.

So, I'm considering a used 2001 Infiniti I30. Good reliability, and really good prices. That's probably what I'm going to go with I think.

Or a used Maxima is always an option. (Pretty much the same car.)

130+ miles per day, huh? If these miles are interstate driving, I'd suggest a full size car like a Grand Marquis or a Crown Vic. Those are excellent for longer drives like that and they are great cars to have. However, you said sporty and awd/fwd, so I dont think those fit the bill. I'd say go for the wrx then if youre into that...
