I am building a game :) any recommendations ?

Hi everyone ... My first game called THE ROMAN SURVIVOR will be ready for this year... With a few words the game will be long gameplay , with a huge world to explore, a lot of items and hidden places... The game put character in a world where the only one thing that player have to do is to survive as long as she/he can. The player can gather a lot of materials, clothes and armor , to buy soldiers to fight for him and to build castle and a lot more..Our ideas is to make fun and long games to play.There will be a wave of enemies who will attack you every 45 minutes , so the player have 45 minutes to prepare for it.I will update with screenshots of the game progress. Everyone giving advice of how the game might be improved any ideas for favorite game types is welcome.

Do you have an established base to build and defend or can your character (solo or with hirelings) just stop where they are and battle the wave assault?
