I am being invaded by ants...enjoy the humor at my expense

I leave my apartment at 5pm to go to class. My apartment needs vacuming, but there is no trash or food in the apartment. I come back about 6 hours later to find numerous ants in a trail about 15 feet long (IE: most of my studio apartment). I quickly ran to Walgreens (thank god for 24 hour stores) and got two kinds of ant killer. I got both the "ant house" type and liquid drops that are poision. It's WAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think he's going a bit high on the numbers. I'd say you have far less then 80 million.

I had ants last year and bought the food houses. They did nothing

so I just got some good old raid and sprayed that sh!t everywhere.

You can also sponge off your baseboards or wherever they're coming from with a mixture of ammonia and water. Ants don't like to cross it.

Actually, the ant traps are good to completely prevent the ants from coming back, but it takes about a week or so. The spray is good for immediate killing. At least that's what my results have been.

It just sucks watching them tromp all over knowing you can't kill them.

One thing I foudn that works w/ ants is Lysol. Strange, but it works!
