... and I am a cheap whore.

I bought some online that was slow to ship and on the expensive side. I honestly didn't catch the shipping charge as there is no way in hell I would have ordered it. The package took 11 days to get here and weighed less than a pound. I left feedback after I received it today.

In the feedback, I mentioned the expensive, slow shipping. Not more than 10 minutes after I left the feedback, they were calling my house offering a full refund of the fee if I would remove my feedback. I agreed. 😱

Every man for himself! I'll spend my $17.50 on some Perma-Slik G if I can find it locally.

I now return you to your regularly scheduled programming.

i had a similar issue. Ordered some paracord for camping and they didnt ship it for ten days. When I called them it went straight to voice mail but it was full. Left a negative message. The next day they called me and said it was shipped and they would refund me my money and shipping, if only i would remove my comment. I told them I would never remove it because they had earned it. They sent it free anyways.

Well they want you to remove the post because they "corrected" the situation. I understand what you're saying though.

Most companies realize that only 5% of customers will take the time to complain.

Put yourself into that 5% and they will hook you up.

It is an Amazon seller, "ADVENTURER'S BAG".
They thanked me and asked me to give them another try. I asked for a discount or a coupon code. 😀 They haven't responded. :\

You bought "Perma-Slik G" from "ADVENTURER'S BAG" to lube your AR magazines. We should be able to do something with this amount of word play...

There's a gun show in Costa Mesa next weekend. If you've not been, it's not bad... nothing like gun shows in Phoenix, but no longer the jerky, Beanie Baby, and leather goods show that it was a few years ago.

Gotta pay for gas, entry and even parking, but it's at least 3 or 4 hours of decent entertainment and there are good deals on ammo and lots of other stuff. If you pay in cash, tax is often built into the prices. I'm going to see if I can find Lubriplate there before I pay $6.50 to ship a 10oz tube.

Mmmmmm... lubricant in a tube.

I actually bout a bipod from them. I can't find the Perma Silk locally. I see a product by CRC that is a dry film lubricant, I am going to try that.

I read that the Costa Mesa show is a good one. The Cal Expo one here sucks. I almost went to the Reno show but the gas cost scared me away.

It's funny too. The DOJ was at the Reno show and followed CA buyers around. Six of them got busted when they drove back into CA with high cap magazines. If they had just taken the mags apart, they'd have been OK. Of course I wouldn't put it past the DOJ to re-assemble them and bust them anyway.

I rented a car for a week from Enterprise a couple of years ago while on vacation. Somebody from the particular Enterprise location I rented from called me a couple of weeks later to confirm my final bill and said that I would be receiving a call soon to gauge my rental experience. This location wanted to make sure I thought that I was well taken care of, I guess they really needed the good review.

I told them that I had two issues with them. One was that when I called and asked about the availability of a particular class of vehicle, they said they had it when they really didn't. The second was that the car I ended up with had horribly squeaky brakes (although I just dealt with it and never complained during the rental period).

At that point, the guy just plainly said, "If we knock $50 off your bill, would that be appropriate compensation for the issues you had and good enough to give us a great review?" I agreed to the deal and held up my end of the bargain when I got the anticipated phone call a week later.

I'd take that deal any day of the week.
