My company is easygoing, although they use a packet shaper to keep most IM services shut out, etc.

My point exactly. I have shoutcast going, for a little ambiance, AIM up (which I actually use 75% of the time for work -- communicating simple questions to coworkers across the state does not ususally warrant a phonecall), and firefox for browsing safety. :Q
