I use Azureus at home, but as I remeber, it was a little bit picky about Javaa, and is a large instal.

I would guess one that uses IE with some activeX controls to do the downloading, but I don't know of any that do that. There may be one, though. Your IT dept. would have to be paying attention to catch it.

I am thinking IT might have issues with the Bandwidth and not so much the program itself.

they will. unless you set it REALLY low, bittorrent EATS all available bandwidth.

It takes me about 30 seconds to notice when someone is using bt or streaming vids. Both are huge bandwidth hogs... most of the time it's legit dloads (linux, opensource software) but one person eating 99% of our bandwidth just isn't going to work.

If it's for work, just tell IT and have them install a client for you.

If you're asking for bitttorrent for personal use, I'd either ask you boss for permission or install a remote control web interface on your home azureus bittorrent client. The remote control web interface will let you start and stop bittorrent downloads on your home machine with just a web browser from work.

I'm very happy with bittornado. I haven't tried anything else other than the original BitTorrent client for a non-trivial amount of time.

Yep. And you should also be kicked in the face right before they escort you out of the building.

bit comet is great...but you're going to get caught. Is your job really worth a couple movies, games, or music tracks?
