Problem solved. One of the ACPI devices was not installing automatically.
I was swapping in new hard drives. Replacing my 2 SATA DM+10s with a pair of WD 320GB SE SATA drives. No other hardware changes.
In device manager I get an unknown device.
This message:
The drivers for this device are not installed (Code 28).
This problem was not noted previously.
Any hints are appreciated. Here are the rest of the specs.
Asus A8N32 SLI
Opteron 170
2x 1GB OCZ4000EB
2 BFG7800GT OC in SLI
X-Fi in PCI2
Liteon DVD and DVDRW on IDE1 and 2
Hard Drives on SATA 1 and 2
TIA for any assistance rendered.
