I am applying for a job at Apple...

and is it prudent to list my skills regarding MS based and PC based?

I know on one hand that it is irrelevant, but on the other hand, it may show that I am competent with "other" computers.

I would say talk about the skills you used and how they will/can be relevant at Apple and how you plan to apply them should you get the job. Or something along those lines...

It'll be worth it to list your MS/Window skills, even if they are "counter" to Apple's stuff. It's proof you know something, and it's always better to know too much than too little.

Exactly. So if you've ever been convicted for any kind of theft or ripping people off in general be sure to list that.

Sorry, had to. Still pissed after I found out that apple charges $250 to replace the battery in an ipod :|

*shrug* Get someone else to replace it then; they don't have a monopoly on battery replacements, you just lose your warranty by having someone else do it.

$59 battery

$59 battery or $68 mail in service

I'm sure there are more out there too.

Anyway, it couldn't hurt to list your most notable PC abilities. Probably don't put on that you're MS Word Certified or some nonsense.

Why not brush up on your Apple skills and add that to your resume...

It's almost like applying for a position as a French interpretter, and putting on your resume that you speak Spanish and English.... The Spanish would actually be a plus, but the French is a necessity.
