I am annoyed

My computer case is doing this: "click, click, click, click, click, click...." I cannot find the culprit.

I am also downloading a driver for my creative x-fi soundcard at 6kb per second of 235.23 mb.

Likely hard drive. Next likely a cable getting in the way of a fan.

Anyways, I find it hard to believe that sound card drivers have to be 235mb! Must be all those awesome applications I don't install... 🙂

Regular clicking means it's probably a rotating component. My guess, in order of probability, is a fan (case, psu, cpu, gpu), hard drive, or cd/dvd drive.

Yeah, for the first time in history I actually like the software for this soundcard. It allows me to switch between game, audio recording, and entertainment mode right from the taskbar... as well as change graphic equalizer, 3d positioning, and many other things. Usually anything from creative is a heap of crap. So yeah, I'm downloading a software update as well.
