I am a real shocker!!

I got a pair of Born shoes from Scheels...I never got any other shoes then some Adios, or DC shoes (they are unbelievably comfy and can fit my wide size 13 foot).

These Born's looked great and were comfy as heck! And they had my size...and 65% off at sheels!! (down from 125$ or something).

I think they have 100% rubber on the bottom and now , everywhere I walk I seem to generate electricity more then usual....and I shock a lot of door knobs, people, etc...WTH can I stop this? hahaha

BTW : am I supposed to where socks with these shoes? They are the casual ones...

I've been wondering whether I should wear white or black socks with my Borns...

But yeah, Borns are the best. Shoes, sandals, whatever 😀

so true...but are you shocking stuff like me?

It sucks working in IT....I am afraid I will kill a PC! hahaha

In the pictures on Born's website they all are sockless :s

You are supposed to wear socks with ALL shoes (well, depends on whether you classify sandals as full shoes), you stinky footed bastard...

Obviously you need to fashion some kind of "footwear lightning rod." Maybe you could hammer a very thin nail all the way through the heel of the interior, then cut it to length with bolt cutters. Or you could solder a wire to a small, round metal plate and insert that below your ankle and allow the wire (strip a good bit of insulation from the end) to trail on the ground behind you. Or you could start walking with a conductive cane.

my vote is for the pimp cane.

I could put some cowboy spikes on the heel?

I've never had any sort of shocking problem with mine...

And to the rest of you... get Borns. Best. Shoes. Ever.
