:frown:

Not seriously mad and I can't stay this way, just a little dissapointed.

Yesterday morning, Mrs. Bernse was reorganizing the deep freeze so there would be a little more room.

This afternoon while we were downstairs, she noticed a bag to the side of the freezer. In it was about 20lbs of ground beef and buffalo and a few packs of steaks.

They've been thawed out in room temperature for a day.

What a waste. I kept a couple of the packs and put them in the fridge...we'll cook them thoroughly and eat them tonight if it smells OK, but I threw out the rest. Not worth the risk. Can't eat them all right away nor refreeze them for fear of the Bacteria getting even worse.

Mrs. Megatomic can be equally absent-minded sometimes. You just "get used to it" eventually. :disgust:

Don't cry over spilt milk.

Everyone makes mistakes... I can only presume you've done a boneheaded thing once or twice in your marriage.

There's worse thing to deal with in a marriage then that...sheesh. For Example, coming home from work early to find your ex-banging ( was my wife then) one of her coworkers.... I almost made an episode of CSI after seeing that :disgust:

Ungrateful bastards! It isn't enough that she has sex with you? You can't forgive a slight oversight like that?:D;)

By the same token that's why I do my own laundry. I've had too many things getting ruined, lost and whatever so I do my own. All for the best anyway, I suppose since it takes the burden off of her and she already has enough to do.

How do you know she's putting out enough to overshadow the blunder?

Hey McFly ... I think you overlooked the fact that he's married.

I admire your self control (or lack of tools) ... I'd have killed them both.

I honestly don't know what I'd do in that situation. I'd like to think that I'd get some video for my divorce lawyer then hose them down with cold water to kill the mood. But I lack restraint in lesser situations so I think I'd wind up going ballistic on them.

for me it'd be purely lack of tools that would stop me from making it a CSI :|

working within the meat industry last 7 years cook the ground beef to 160c and your fine thats when all the bacteria is killed.

The steaks can last a few days in the fridge. No reason to throw any of it away.
