I am a fatass

seriously..I've been negging out lately...hospital visit and such...and went to the gym for the first time in "some time"

couldn't even do the ERG machine for 15min at full speed:|

<---fattass...

I felt like crap afterwards too🙁

Need to hit the gym up everyday now at 5am to compensate

i have a fat stomach, the rest of me is about like it always has been. all my excess blubber is in my fat non-beer belly

Good luck.. i'm not fat and i haven't been able to motivate myself to lose 4 pounds for over a year now. I always start for a month, then stop for like 6 months.

did 15 on the erg, 10 on some eliptical machine( I had never used it before) that only works on your legs (no handle bars) and lifted for 30

I'll stretch out tomorow by doing the erg and jsut swiming afterwards

Drink water, that's good stuff too and cleans out your body real well....especially that clear piss

My piss is practically transparent. My weight is probably mostly water weight since I drink so much.

My main issue in the past was that I drank way too much COLD ( I mean frigid) water...

Yes, and good luck keeping that as a routine.

It's a lot more variable than my previous attempt. I would jsut keep cardio to swimming....

Why was that an issue?

Cold water does that to you?

I feel your pain. I used to run 5-7 miles a day, sometimes even 8. After being sick for a few weeks, I could barely run 1 or 2 without feeling like my lungs are horribly dry and all of that stuff.

Time to bring myself back up to where I was.

keep going to the gym!

nothing better than being fit and trim.

The really fun part is when you give up again in a few months and go on a fast food binge for a few weeks. Then you can rebuild again.

Could have something to do with the 30500+ post on AT

You should get a friend to go with and play some raquetball, or get out and play some frisbee with someone deliberatlly(sp?) throwing the frisbee off a little so you have to run to get it. I find doing some sports with friends a lot easier/funner. Keep some water handy and do that on some days.

Like a teacher at my school
He's a ball for his chest and hip with little stubs of arms and legs and a head popping out

Actually drinking very cold water helps burn calories because your body has to use energy to warm the water up.

I worked out 3 times a week all last year and lost 6 pounds. Started at 242 and never dropped below 236. If there's anything worse than being fat, it's not being able to lose the fat even when you are really putting forth the effort.

My theory is that many fat people who exercise without results are eating extra calories that negate most of the exercising they are doing. They think that "Wow, I'm tired, I really worked out. I can splurge a little bit."

Counting calories helps keep things in perspective and prevent overeating, IMO. Makes you think twice when you equate that twinkie in your hand to jogging a mile. When you're fat, jogging a mile isn't very fun. Very hard to work off a real pig-out (who pigs out on just one twinkie?).
