I am a disgusting person when I play Hitman

Found a free copy at my moms house laying around from one of her old videocard packages, took home the third iteration of hitman, of which I have not played (played to death the previous 2, especially the 1st)

I'm absolutely loving it. Alot of it is left to your imagination which is great.

After beating the missions, I first like to go through and try to kill everyone as silently as possible. It's amazing how brutal I am and how much I enjoy doing it.

Next, I try to beat the missions by causing as little to no violence as possible. This is much harder to do and sometimes more rewarding.

Either way, god, I just LOVE something about blasting away or taking out an unwitting civilian!

Am I alone?

I never got around to playing Blood Money, but Hitman 2 is one of my favourite games of all time. I've played that game so many freaking times I've lost count.

I spend hours sometimes just driving circles around the happiness island in GTAIV, because there is a narrow sidewalk that goes almost the whole way around the island. I could easily run over a thousand civilians in a couple hours. The best part is the police can't get onto the island, so they don't do anything about it.

Running people over is pretty much the only thing I ever did in GTA4. :awe:

usually after I ran over too many they woudl break my car and cause it to explode :(

You need to go to the airport and steal one of the giant tanks there. Get away from the cops, drop all your stars, and then run around town with THAT. :D

I know what you mean, OP.

Hence why I am always evil first in RPGs.

Just make sure you leave your evil side at the PC. We don't want to see/hear about you on the evening news. /chuckle

I love that game. I spent a lot of time trying to get the mini-gun out of the first level without killing anyone. I ended up dropping it from the roof next to the get-a-way car, and leaving the normal way and just grabbing it right before entering the car.

The other one that was hard to get without killing anyone was the 50 cal, but I found one in little china in the sewers, that I managed to snag.

I kept playing the game trying to find ways to get as little colateral damage as possible at each level, trying to kill the target without anyone noticing. The next game (contracts) is also fun, but the controls aren't as good as blood money.

They need to make more Hitman games.

Yes, you are right about that.

I too really really enjoyed the series, especially Blood Money. The concept was great and you had MANY options of completing your mission. Thats what I loved about the game. Its not linear at all. Opera Level was by far my favorite. It was tough but after figuring it out, I understand what needed to get done.

I'm with you on the sickness level. Just dont let it get to your head and apply it in real life...

Anyone playing Blood Money on Win7x64? I can't get it to work.

yes, thats how i'm playing it....I did have to patch it though first before it would work.

It's messed up though, windows 7 isn't allowing me to modify any of the files, even though I'm obviously the administrator. So I can't get the cheat codes to work.

I'll let you know how i installed if that still isn't working out..........maybe its a other conflict like video card, or something

Hated Hitman 1. Liked HM2, liked HM:BM even more. The first game required far too much repetition and depended far too much on figuring things out by dying and restarting over and over. The later ones you actually had a chance to figure things out as you went along, without needing knowledge your character couldn't possibly have. Quite satisfying puzzle games disguised as action games. One tries not to think about the morality of it all.

Actually, I found that installing the v1.2 patch was the cause of my problems. I uninstalled, reinstalled, and did not patch it (running v1.0), and it works fine now.
