I have always wondered what is the big deal with 1600x1200 res. Why is everyone so carzy to play at this resolution. Well folks just like the diff is between dial-up and broadband so is the diff between 1600x1200 res and anything else. I simply cannot from this point on play at any lower resolutions, games like Doom 3 and Farcry are a marvel to behold. I am just stunned. When I came home today with my new Samsung P997f monitor I was expecting a little improvement but I was not expecting this at all. Long live PC gaming. There is simply no substitute.
