I have been doing my own eyebrows for about 10 years now...just wanted an "expert" to do it for a wedding I am in this weekend.

what's so funny about it? Do you like bushy eyebrows? the only thing funny would be if she f-up and completely tore off all your hairs...

The puffy eyebrow clown look.

There's not much difference between tweezing your own and waxing, 'cept the waxing is faster.

If you have really sensitive skin you need to be careful. Waxing tends to really irritate the skin and you can get a light rash for a day.

Have fun at the wedding! :)

I just want a re-shaping...I hate the way penciled in brows look!!!!! :disgust:

Personally, I like the crayola raven black for best drawn on eyebrows, looks especially great when drawn on by 5 year olds that have just eaten 2 pixie sticks and drank a Dr. Pepper.

Penciled on eyebrows and the outlining your lips with a black pen are my pet peeve

I've had eyebrow and full Brazilian bikini waxes done before.

For the eyebrow waxes, they just lay you down on a comfy chair, put warm wax on the areas you want hair removed (if they're good, they'll shape them nicely for you), put a cloth strip over the wax, press down, distract you by talking about x/y/z, and then they'll RIP THE STRIP OFF super-fast. Hurts like hell for about ten seconds, but they put cooling creme on afterwards so it's not that bad.

Should cost you about $10-15, I usually tip $3-5.

I have a few girls trying to convince me to wax mine, I haven't given in to them yet.

I don't have the eyebrows to wax in the first place 'cuz I wasn't born with any of it, anyway. It took forever for one to appear. So basically, I'm a pretty easy candidate for makeup artists, since I don't have the eyebrows to wax. Thanks for asking and making me feel left out . . . I'm just a misfit's fiend. :p :D

I have never paid that much attention to a woman's eyebrows to say I give a damn :p

Several female friends are jealous of my eyebrows though, and I don't have to do anything to them.

Having your eyebrows waxed hurts like heck, but not nearly as bad as other areas on your body. It even hurts less then having your legs done.

All i gotta say is there is nothing compared to getting them waxed. Its so much better than if you tweeze them. The pain only lasts a little while, and they look so nice afterwards.

I think eye brows shape your face, so when they are nicely groomed, you look like a million bucks! You dont even need to wear any make up as long as your eye brows are nice and sculpted!

P.s. it is addicting! Sheesh, the price women pay for "beauty"!

That was AWESOME!!! I went straight from work to the spa to the rehursal to the dinner, so sorry guys, no pictures.
ActPrincess, you are so right about it being addictive - I think it is much more addictive than the forums!! It was so relaxing, and the pain wasn't bad at all!!! I can't wait until the next one!! :D

I do have a little rash on my eyebrows now though...:(

Why? I've had my eyebrows waxed before. There is nothing wrong w/being clean cut. Women don't dig that Unibrow look anymore...that died in 1964!

There's nothing wrong w/a guy getting his eyebrows waxed.
