I almost killed my video card.

Today I attempted to remove my R8500 Apallo heatsink. Now, I absolutly hate those orbish heatsinks. I hate them with those plasticly tabs that hold the heatsink to the pcb. I got my pilliers out and slowly got one tab off. Then, working on my other tabs, I scratched the PCB. NO! NO! NO! NO! OMG! AHH!! It still works thank god.

That's why I'm so hesitant to do those mods anymore. It's fun to do, but there's always a risk, and if I had all the money for the things I've accidentally destroyed doing such mods I could pre-order several ATI 9800 128MB Pros!
