I almost hate music now (well, at least for a few days)

I did a survey for the local classic rock radio station

You were supposed to be over 40, but this girl who worked at theplace hooked me up.
Got kinda weird looks from the other dudes there (twice my age)

Anyways, there was about 20 of us in a room and all we did
was listen to 5 second clips of songs and rate them.

600 songs total!

It took over two hours.

We got paid $50 and there was two drawings for a bonus $50 (didn't get it )

When it was finally over and I got into my car to leave I had to immedialey turn the radio off to prevent myself from going crazy..

wow... that sounds like something the RIAA would do, or mtv...

just have a bunch of old board members sit around a table listening to 5 second clips determining what was "good" or not

Yeah, it was kinda weird.

But it made sense for a classic rock station.

Thye expected you to already know the songs and the clips were played to identify them.

You rated the song from what you already knew of it.

There was a box to check if you didn't recognize the song. I didn't know a couple.
