i almost drink a mosquito, twice

so i was drinking some milk from a styrofoam cup, next think i notice there was a huge mosquito floating in it

again today, i was drinking some water, when i notice a mosquito dead in it

i had a styrofoam cup on my desk, again i notice a dead mosquito in it...

are mosquitos attracted to styrofoam cups or something? is it the static that keeps them in there? or do they just get lost? has this happened to anyone? this is boggling
