Can your PC boot from the CD-Rom? If so, you can just stick your win2k CD into the CD drive and it will boot from your win2k CD...

If not, then you can create win2k bootdisks off the CD... I think there's a directory on the win2k disc call "bootdisks" or something similar... it will require 4 floppy disks though...

You don't need a Win2k boot disk. Just go into your BIOS and set your boot device as your CD-ROM drive. Then start you system with the Win2k CD in the drive and you should be able to boot from the CD.

You just have to place your CD-rom before your hard drive in the boot devices in the BIOS, and it should boot from the win2K CD. If it doesn't work, go into win98, put in your win2k CD and browse to the "BOOTDISK" directory, and click on "MAKEBOOT". You'll need 4 floppies, and it'll make the win2k boot floppies.

? means I'm not sure that's the exact name of the option, but something like that should be there.
