Seriously, my Father-In-Law has these stupid plants all over his backyard at his house in Palm Springs so everytime we go out there with our son we're constantly worrying that he's going to trip and fall into one of these fucking plants. I was cleaning the pool and brushed up against one and got 1000 needles stuck in my leg as a reward. :roll:

Why anyone keeps these things is beyond me.

Only water it when it starts looking wilted. If you water it ever day, you will kill it. My friends just got back from Arizona with some cacti and my wife asked them exactly the same question

You can see the one stalk is starting to turn white. Does that mean its dying? Are there minerals I can give it? What type of cactus is it, does anyone know?

Will it ever grow to be 6 feet tall?
