I accidently clicked yes to allow an Active-X script to run in IE

JEDI

right after i clicked yes, all my letters were in uppercase and the caps lock was not on. when i pressed the caps lock, all the letters were in lowercase, but the comma, period, and slash keys were < > ? respectively.

norton antivirus says i'm clean.

short of a format/reinstall, how can i be sure there's nothing malignant in my comp?

Why?

I run IE and have never had spyware or a virus on my system.

Pretty much the same here. The only time I had a virus was when I'd left an IIS server running un-updated and unprotected in a DMZ.

I find that hard to believe. I have both adaware and Spybot on my machine, and if I open IE to check for an update on XP, it instantly gets some spyware. I use it as an example of how crappy IE is.
