I accidentally set off the house security alarm this morning.......

Boy was it loud!

At least I know that the back door doesn't have any delay whatsoever.

Confirmatory phone call from monitoring center to my cellphone was within 1-minute.

Monitoring center was not able to cancel the dispatch so I had the knock on my front door and I had to say "Good morning officer, sorry I tripped the alarm by accident."

Your lucky you didn't get a fine. Here iit's around 500$ fine for a false alarm.

I don't have that problem when my alarm trips. But then again it trips with the base of my sub on my HT, and I don't have an off button.

Nothing protects a house like 200lbs of dogs barking and jumping at the door. lol.

Wow, that's overly excessive. Hopefully that fine is only imposed to repeat "offenders".

I have to re-read my contract and see the details of setting off false alarms.
