I love Windows, but I've been trying to learn Linux for work. it's kind of hard to do without downloading and installing it first

That's what FTP installs are for. Downloading isos is really only important when you're going to burn enough to hand out.

Yeah, they let you download just what you need isntead of EVERYTHING. Save some bandwidth and time. NFS installs are nice too, but a bit tougher.

Bit torrent is often used for Linux isos or files.
