Good to hear from you! Sounds routine, but medicine isn't what I know. Hope everything proceeds without excitement, and you have a great jul :^)
 
Do you need it for anything anymore? Is all the chemo done?
Ask them why not yank it?

As for the clot. Ever have the nurse have to fidget with it to get a good flow during your flush? If so then there was a small clot, Seem like it was common when I was getting mine flushed. If not there was probably still a smaller clot at the end of the tube. Not a big deal unless they can't get any flow.

I was quite happy to get that darned thing out of me
 
Ports suck. My gf had 4 after her mastectomy and reconstruction. Took forever to finally heal.

I will need chemo till there are no treatment options left for me. If the port can be saved I will be grateful as my veins aren’t good.
I started the blood thinner today, hoping it works
