Did OP vote for Trump in 2016? I refused to vote for that infantile man.

Never Trump.

He did indeed vote for trump.

It sounds like he was one of those, “burn it all down” type people. A real patriot/eye roll

I didn't vote for Trump in the primary, but i did vote for him in the general election and i've been happy with my choice every single day since then and sometimes I even laugh out loud about it, especially when i'm reading these forums. Thanks folks for giving me so many happy, joyous moments.

So you were basically just trolling with this thread then?

You know UglyCasanova there's always times we get weary and tired of fighting the good fight. That we look back and ask ourselves if its worth the effort, worth the fight that maybe it'd just be better to sit back, to give up and to relax and let someone else make the effort.

"Even though large tracts of Europe and many old and famous States have fallen or may fall into the grip of the Gestapo and all the odious apparatus of Nazi rule, we shall not flag or fail. We shall go on to the end. We shall fight in France, we shall fight on the seas and oceans, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our island, whatever the cost may be. We shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender, and if, which I do not for a moment believe, this island or a large part of it were subjugated and starving, then our Empire beyond the seas, armed and guarded by the British Fleet, would carry on the struggle, until, in God's good time, the New World, with all its power and might, steps forth to the rescue and the liberation of the old. "- Churchill

Don't let these God be damned Democratic Nationalist Socialists win.

You need some trolling lessons bunky. That's just stupid.

Not at all, it's important that someone who honestly disagrees with the left and Democrats is open, honest and truthful about their opinion. Emphatically disagreeing is not trolling.

Have been for quite a while actually but the whole soliciting foreign governments to help him out politically is swampy as hell. Won’t be voting for him in 2020. Whether I’ll be voting Dem or not depends on who they run. I’d love to cast a vote for Mayor Pete. If Bernie is the nominee it may even push me back to hold my nose and vote Trump lol. Trump came in and wrecked shop which was what I wanted, but he’s done too much that I disagree with and especially the revelations about soliciting the help of foreign governments to help his campaign that I said screw it I’m off, he’s just another politician now.

I hate DC so much.
Forget Trump

The saddest thing here is you.
That you would think that dems are socialist.
That you would think that dems will tear down your land of the free.
Dont realize you are playing for corruption and authoritarian rule, direct influence from Moscow.
Its sad what the propaganda and Trump State TV has done to you.

Is this how you want to run GOV?

You know nothing of what I care about and don’t, you’re simply trying to paint a picture of me to suite the argument you want to make. Attack attack attack, I think it’s a way to shield your own partisanship from obvious flaws.

Like I said, no convincing any of you otherwise so I’m not going to rehash those same arguments. And I really don’t care one iota if you doubt my sincerity.

Wait, your thread title is "I'm off the Trump train" yet you just said you may vote for Trump again. So maybe a better title is, "eh, maybe I'm off the Trump train, we'll see." That looks like bad faith to me. So, let's clarify this. Are you truly "off the Trump train" or not?

Gutting DC

Edit: this seems like it’s turning into you trying to pry out a gotcha. Go for it if it makes you feel better. It makes these forums a boring place though, that’s all discussions on here have become
I dont know. Recently I credited you with being a more efficient version of Slow, this OP certainly plays into that narrative. I may also think that while you want to burn DC down you are convinced that it would be the best thing for your country. Maybe you are waking up to the fact that Trump is a wildfire that is burning down way way WAY more than just DC. I certainly hope you are.

When do you ever do that?! Honest? When?

If that's what you are trying to do you are failing badly. Don't constantly write laughably absurd and untruthful things if you are trying to be "honest."

You burned down your credibility and earned your troll label long ago.

You were told by millions supporting trump was a horrible decision. I hope your sincere, you deserve a chance, like anyone who's trying to better themselves by acknowledging a mistake and working to not let that happen again.

Time will test the sincerity of the OP

If we are to take UC at face value he both voted for the guy paying millions of dollars for defrauding thousands with a scam university and the guy who scammed thousands of investors in the only position of public trust he ever held as an attempt to END corruption, (LOL) that’s bad enough.

But no there’s more, he thought the guy who STARTED OUT his presidency running a hotel down the street from the White House where foreign governments could directly bribe him was just fine until DC corrupted him so it’s DC’s fault.

I just cannot fathom how someone could be that deluded.

Real stable one you are, there. One hopes you have no guns, because you're a few days from running out and murdering people that don't wear red hats.

I know people have been ragging on you in this thread, but I want to offer at least some kind of support for backing away from Trump. The hardest thing to do is to make a fundamental shift in politics when the evidence becomes too overwhelming to ignore.

I'll add something: it's important to vote for a candidate based on what they plan to build, not what they intend to destroy. Wrecking shop only matters if there's a good replacement in store. And one of Trump's big problems is that he's often dismantling things for no good reason, such as environmental regulations that even many Republicans agree with. His policies have been more about undoing Obama's work out of spite than anything constructive.

You should vote your conscience, but I would recommend voting Democrat unless you're absolutely revolted by their nod. Remember, Trump won at least a couple of states by margins slim enough that the third-party vote easily made the difference -- it's not worth risking another Trump term. The main goal for any voter in 2020 is to bring back competent, vaguely ethical government, and that means voting Trump out.

Trump's character was painfully obvious from the beginning. That you didn't know this is on you and your willful ignorance. You voted for this.
The Casino, University, Airlines, beverages, steaks and bankruptcies were all flukes. You could tell he was going to be great at running the country because of how great he was at speaking.
